Welcome to the Haydonian Community Lounge and Bar, a cozy and vibrant hub nestled in the friendly village of Haydon Bridge. We invite you to experience the warmth of our welcome and immerse yourself in the convivial atmosphere we’re known for. Whether you’re here to savour a drink, engage in a friendly game of pool, darts or snooker, or simply to relax and watch live sports on our large-screen TVs, we have something for everyone. Our regular live events, hosted in both the bar and our spacious function room, promise memorable nights filled with entertainment.

The Haydonian is run by a committee who are all volunteers and meet on a regular basis. We are always looking for new ideas and volunteers to help run the Haydonian. As custodians, we do not own the club, but have the best interests of the community asset.
The club is owned by the members who pay for a share on joining and have to pay an annual membership to retain this share.

Regular live music
Join us each month for top local artists and musicians performing live in the bar on the 1st Saturday of each month, plus on special events and fundraising in our function room throughout the year.
Function room hire
Our function room is available to the local community for special occasions and fundraising events. We can open outside our advertised opening hours for these events. Please ask us how we can help host your event. The room is free to members.
Coach parties welcome
Coach parties are very welcome, please let us know you are coming so we can host something for you!

Pool
The bar pool table is available for everyone to use with cues and chalk provided. The current price is 30p per game and requires 3 x 10p coins, change available.
Darts
Our resident teams play on a Thursday and Friday. Let us know if you are interested in joining or creating a new team. Also available for casual play.
Snooker
Full size snooker table. Cues and chalk are available and the light costs £1.00 for 1 hour.
